Pro-Home, Inc. proudly serves the residents of Southeastern Massachusetts.
Our Mission
Pro-Home, Inc. exists to produce and protect affordable housing, to improve financial literacy for current homeowners and aspiring homebuyers, to eliminate discrimination in housing, and to advocate for the cause of affordable housing on behalf of those of low-to-moderate income and diverse backgrounds. It primarily serves families and individuals in southeastern Massachusetts, but is open to assist all in need.
It fulfills this mission by:
- Providing first-time homebuyer education, landlord/tenant education, foreclosure counseling and other housing-related education with the support of local lenders, realtors, attorneys, housing advocates and others.
- Providing financial literacy counseling and programs to community residents
- Managing rental properties with low-to-moderate income tenants
- Providing assistance to city, town and state organizations, including the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, in renovating distressed properties
Pro-Home is a Taunton-based non-profit housing entity organized under Chapter 180 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is certified by HUD, DHCD and the MassHousing Partnership.
